Welcome to our blog! This has been something I have been thinking about doing for quite some time and I am excited to finally move forward with it. I will say, however, that choosing the name for this blog has been quite the ordeal. David and I both wanted something meaningful and different. We thought about using Latin, Greek, or Hebrew (and I’m sure David considered something in Syriac!), but in the end we decided good old English would do just fine! I didn’t particularly want to have a blog name that I couldn’t even pronounce! Settling on a language still didn’t help much. It seemed like all the good names were picked already and I was just about to go with the generic name “Blog,” but this morning I came across Job 37:14~”Listen to this, O Job, Stand and consider the wonders of God.” What a wonderful reminder to stand (not run, hurry, or multi-task) and simply consider all the wonderous things of God. They are all around us…just read Job 38 and 39. Our desire for this blog is certainly to keep our friends and loved ones up-to-date on the happenings in our family. We want it to be fun and lighthearted, but we also desire to share our lives with you in a deeper way; to share what we are learning and what is on our hearts and minds.  So enjoy! We pray you are encouraged and blessed, and ultimately that our God is glorified!
